Throughout MyBreakfastReadingProgram, the "splinter skills" are laying the foundation for accuracy and fluency.  The materials are organized into small learning units with the highest frequency skills introduced early.  The skills are repeated throughout several lessons and each skill has multiple exposures for learning in the timed and untimed activities.
