Mop and Rake and Hike to the Lake - 22a

"Is it going to rain?" I asked.

"No it isn't." said mom.

"Then I can hike to the lake," I said.

"I wouldn't hike to the lake."  "You have to mop and rake," said dad.

"Isn't it her time to mop and rake?" I asked.

"She would've raked but it was late," said mom.

"Doesn't it make it her time to mop and rake?" I asked.

"How about if she mops and I rake!" I said.

"Then we can hike to the lake!"

"Wasn't the hike to the lake fun?" she asked.

"It was a lot of fun," I said.

"Where is the boat zone?" she asked.

"I see the boat zone over there," I said.

"Which boat do we need to go to?" I asked.

"The red boat with a rope on it," she said.

"Wasn't it the blue boat with a rope?" I said.

"No!" "The red boat with a rope on it."

"I would've been mad if it did rain!" I said.

"Me too!"
